Our Barre class moves between the ballet barre and the floor to combine pilates, yoga, strength training and ballet moves, creating a dynamic, full body workout which will increase strength and flexibility. Expect high repetition moves whilst using props to maintain alignment and balance. It is a great class to compliment your yoga practice or other activities. No yoga, dance or ballet experience is necessary! This is a fast paced class, a moderate level if fitness is required, if you are unsure if it is right for you please consult your GP and speak to the Kali Collective teachers. Not recommended for pregnancy due to the high amounts of core work in the class.
Learn the alignment and transitions of a vinyasa practice, expect more time with poses to dissect and modify to your body and needs that day. This foundational class will set you up to flow through our vinyasa classes with a higher sense of body awareness, stability and alignment. Expect a flowing start, followed by a few longer style holds in floor based poses, integrated with pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. This is our beginner friendly class, we recommended this class for new yogis due to the slower pace and attention to alignment. If you have need done yoga before you are welcome at this class, expect to be moving from feet to floor and working your body through a full range of movement. This class is perfect for anyone either wanting to learn the basics of vinyasa, or wanting a tune up in their current vinyasa practice! Learn the proper alignment and foundation for poses commonly seen in vinyasa classes. Each week one specific pose will be broken down so you can walk away feeling confident and strong in your foundation!

Our vinyasa classes evolve from the energy of the class, we plan each class with intention and are ready to throw out the plan at any moment to further serve you and your body, mind and spirit. Expect high energy, challenging classes that leave you feeling stronger, taller and in balance. This flowing paced class involved full body movement and you will ge the most out of it if you are familiar with a sun salutation and/or have been to 10 Gentle Yoga classes and are ready for the next challenge. Moderate fitness level and range of movement recommended to fully experience this class. Pregnant students with a steady and committed practice of 2+ years prior to pregnancy are welcome so long as they have consulted their GP and have worked 1x1 with an experienced vinyasa teacher to learn their modifications.
Tap into your inner power, strength and grace. Laugh at yourself as we explore challenging poses that teach us not only how to balance on your mat but also in our lives. At power we amp it up a notch, include more core work, arm balances and inversions. Expect to be challenged, break a sweat and go upside down (optional) A moderate level of fitness is required for Power Yoga. To experience the class fully you should aim to be familiar with a sun salutation, be able to hold down dog for 10 full breaths and be able to bear weight on hands and wrists. A therapeutic yoga session for the body and mind. Wind down with this gentle and relaxing yoga practice. Yin is a style of yoga that hold seated postures for several minutes to target deep connective tissue. By going deep into our physical body it creates the space to explore the stillness inside. Be prepared to relax, unwind and create a sense of calm during this class. To fully experience this class you should aim to be comfortable in a seated position and supine (laying down) positions for 3-5 minutes. Bring a layer to keep warm and some cozy socks! This is the perfect class to bring some balance to your mind, body and soul! This class is split between Yang - an energising, flowing practice, and Yin - a restorative, cooling practice. This class is open to beginners, however a basic knowledge of vinyasa and yin is encouraged. Get ready to feel alive, energised and totally blissed out!

A combination of strength and conditioning with flowing movement sequences. Our Forrest-inspired vinyasa classes focus on feeling deeply into each pose though coached breathing, detailed alignment and hands-on assists. Expect to feel challenged as you move through each sequence holding the poses for slightly longer than in other vinyasa classes. Perfect for those looking to build their strength, flexibility and develop a deeper connection to their core. To fully experience this class a moderate level of fitness is required expect to be moving from feet to floor, spending time in down dog, deep twists, hips opening movements and bearing weight on hands and wrists. If you are unsure if a class like this sis suitable for you please talk to your GP. Always let the teacher know of any injuries you may have or if you are pregnant. Not recommended for pregnancy unless you have a committed and steady forrest yoga practice prior to pregnancy and have worked 1x1 with a teacher to learn your modifications as well as being cleared by your GP.
Kula in Sanskrit means community. This class is all about community. It will be taught by a variety of qualified teachers, some from our existing teaching faculty, some visiting teachers and also our qualified mentorship students. Think of it as a little pot luck of yoga, as they style will change with the teacher! The class is open to everyone, all levels and abilities. It is a great way to kick back after a week of work!
