Steph has a passion for empowering others through the tradition of yoga. She is the owner of The Kali Collective Yoga Studio in Glasgow and runs 200 hour yoga teacher trainings, workshops and retreats all over the world. Steph has over 500 hours of training, primarily with her teacher Julia McCabe and has spent many hours training with physiotherapists to grow her knowledge of anatomy. Steph has a strong focus on the philosophy and traditions of yoga while infusing her studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine and energy healing. It is clear from spending time with Steph that her greatest teachers are her friends, family, students and the lessons she has received from spending years traveling. Steph used all the tools from her trainings and experience to deliver a strong, introspective, loving vinyasa class.
"It’s that cool, no-nonsense, free spirit sensibility that characterizes the experience with Steph Wall Yoga. A modern yoga teacher with mischievous and playful side, Steph delivers a unique and empowering practice for students with a wide range of needs. There is an air of mystery around Steph herself, something powerful yet vulnerable, a compelling combination that keeps her students both intrigued and intensely loyal.”
"I first tried yoga in 2001 and almost ruled it out after one class. I gave it another go a few years later at a local gym and soon started to skip the gym workouts in favour of a flowing yoga class. I fully realised yogas power and healing properties after using the practice as part of rehabilitation of my neck and back following a bad car crash. A few months after moving to Canada in 2010 and meeting Julia McCabe I had signed up to do her teacher training. With no intention of teaching, I went to Nicaragua for the 200 hour course. My life changed from that moment on. After sharing my voice and leading a class I knew this was what I wanted to do. I teach a Vinyasa based flow class. I add in core strengthening and longer held restorative poses at the end of class. I draw from many teachers who have inspired my practice over the years and travels I have been on. In my classes you will find me, fully present, sharing my love of yoga and creating a space for you to explore this practice and get to know your body a little better."
