Your spine is part of the central axis to your body so it’s important to use it well. In this workshop we will break down the range of motion of the different regions of the spine, how it works bio-mechanically in relationship to your pelvis and how you can confidently use this understanding to enhance and skilfully deepen your vinyasa yoga practice. You will learn why and how to distribute load throughout your body so that you can free up this region for more smooth and stable movement. You will use this knowledge to explore a variety of back-bends including wheel pose and asymmetrical back-bends such as king pigeon and dancers pose.
