Standing postures in yoga are the bread and butter of our physical practice. We do them all the time but they're actually some of the hardest postures to do well. In this workshop you will practise standing pose combinations that produce balanced strength and flexibility in the entire lower body and hip joint. You will learn the key actions of the feet and legs in relation to the hips when performing common but complex postures such as lunges, warrior I, II and triangle pose. We will explore fundamental concepts that will simultaneously mitigate risk of common yoga injuries while enhancing and deepening your experience across these postures and your wider practice. For both newer and more experienced students with a regular practice.
