Steph has a passion for facilitating a space for students to deepen into the complexities of life through the tradition of yoga. Deeply devoted to self discovery and engaging in the creative unfolding of life, it is clear that Steph’s intention with the yoga path is to stay awake and aware during the transformational process of Life.
Steph is the owner of The Kali Collective Yoga Studio in Glasgow and runs 200 hour yoga teacher trainings, workshops and retreats internationally. Steph has spent over 500 hours training in Vinyasa yoga with her teacher Julia McCabe. She also has extensive training in Yin, Traditional Chinese Medicine, physical anatomy and philosophy with teachers such as Tiffany Cruikshank and Natalie Rousseau.
"It’s that cool, no-nonsense, free spirit sensibility that characterizes the experience with Steph Wall Yoga. A modern yoga teacher with mischievous and playful side, Steph delivers a unique and empowering practice for students with a wide range of needs. There is an air of mystery around Steph herself, something powerful yet vulnerable, a compelling combination that keeps her students both intrigued and intensely loyal.”
“I really aim to share the message that you don’t have to be any specific "type" of person to approach yoga. Your differences, both internal and external, are what make your practice truly unique and beautiful. Now get your ass to class” – Claire Innes-Martin
For me, yoga has always been about finding truth, in how I live, and how I look at myself and the world around me. Actually, that’s not accurate. Yoga HANDS me truth about these things all the time and says “Look. Look at this!” Like many people, I began practising yoga because I wanted to experience physical benefits. Big surprise – I quickly realised that it was just one of endless ways in which my life would be changed and enhanced by yoga.
In our busy, pressured lives, we tell ourselves many (pretty mean) stories: about what we're capable of; how strong/resilient we are; how able we are to make time for ourselves and remove stress from the equation. As a yoga teacher, I am simply there to guide you towards realising the actual truth hiding behind these stories. Yoga is not just about movement and breathing. If we allow it to be, it is a vehicle towards unlocking our real potential, in turn knowing and loving ourselves a whole bunch more.
I teach and learn the practice of yoga knowing that it offers us all the chance to cultivate on our mat the qualities we want to take with us to all corners of our lives. I feel incredible lucky to continue my yoga path as part of The Kali Collective's diverse and vibrant community.
Alice Gray | Vinyasa & Yin Yoga
Alice's aim is for people to feel empowered and strong but in absolutely every sense of the words. You'll find her classes sensitively balance both technique and creativity so that you come away feeling like you've really learnt something, but also at the same time having the opportunity to just get lost in the practice too. Expect clarity and precision, good music, heart-felt philosophy, no dogma, a little sweat, a lot of warmth.
Alice has completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher training – largely with Jason Crandell (power vinyasa yoga) and Bridget Woods Kramer (anusara yoga). She lives in Glasgow but is originally from Oxfordshire and then London. Alice has a background in Psychology and Communications and loves to draw on both within her teaching.
"Alice has a real gift with the way that she teaches, both in the clarity and understanding behind her instructions, but also in the deeper messages she always weaves in to class. Yoga with Alice makes me feel connected and there are so many things I have learnt from her that I carry with me outside the yoga room. If I ever teach yoga myself, I hope I'll do so with all of her grace and wisdom."
Scott McDonald | Vinyasa Yoga
Scott attended his first yoga class in June 2011 and has regularly practiced since then. He completed his first teacher training course in 2015 at the Seasonal Yoga Academy. This 12 month course helped him deepen his practice and gain a real appreciation of Yoga. Scott has since completed his Advanced Seasonal training.
He is currently continuing to expand his knowledge of Yoga and further develops his physical practice through regularly attending led Vinyasa classes and home practice. Scott enjoys the variety, flexibility and strength that comes with Yoga and loves challenges that Vinyasa yoga brings both physically and mentally.
When he is not on his yoga mat Scott enjoys weight lifting, running and twerking. He is currently working with his personal trainer to master the press handstand. While he is nowhere near perfecting that pose he very much believes that working towards more challenging poses make you better at everything else (on and off the mat).
Scott is passionate about making his classes welcoming for newcomers and long-time yogis. He firmly believes that yoga is for everyone and will adapt the practice to cater specifically to your capability and needs. He regularly runs beginners workshops at The Kali Collective (beginners are his secret favourite) for those new to a yoga practice. Expect a slow paced practice which focuses on strength and foundation.

Claire Fisher | Vinyasa Yoga
Claire started practising yoga halfway through her PhD in Psychology. Not only did she find that yoga brings peace of mind and relaxation of body, she also noticed how this physical practice strips away self-doubt and replaces it with an “I can” mentality. This mindset inspired Claire to train as a fitness instructor during the final year of her PhD and subsequently complete her 200 hours Vinyasa Teacher Training in India with Steph Wall.
Claire loves the capacity that yoga has for creative expression and sees each practice as a chance to harmonise mind and body by getting imaginative with movement. Her classes offer the space to quiet your mind, connect to your breath, and give yourself a whole lot of love.
Yoga has been a presence in Maxie’s life for almost 20 years. She began in her late teens as a form of exercise. Sometimes she veered away from her practice, but importantly, always returned. And with each return, came the realisation that the practice of yoga could spark a real joy in her life. Yoga allows her to release the everyday stresses of life in a vibrant and healthy way and live an authentic and vivid life. Last year Maxie completed a 200 hour teacher training with Steph Wall and is thrilled to now be able to share the incredible gifts of yoga with her community. Expect to feel super comfortable in her classes, and to leave feeling strong, relaxed and happy."
Suzi got into yoga to try and help with ongoing injuries from years of playing various sports. She found that not only was the pain within her body subsiding, her mind was feeling calmer as the negative thoughts also started to slowly subside.
Yoga started to shift Suzi’s perspective towards the body and mind so much that she decided to complete her 200-hour training with The Yoga People at the end of 2017. This was her first step towards sharing the practice with others. This year, she returned to Goa for 100hr training in Mandala and Shamanism with her teachers Dulce Aguilar and Jamie Clarke. Suzi has also completed 40 hours of advanced vinyasa training with Steph Wall.
Suzi believes yoga truly is for everyone and aims to spread a sense of inclusion, playfulness and positivity. Her classes provide a safe environment to explore the capabilities of the body whilst also soothing the mind through breath and movement.
A wild mama dedicated to sharing keys to deeper, authentic connection to Self and others through Restorative Yoga, Somatic Bodywork and Sacred Ceremony.
Through years of holding space for others to journey deeply into themselves in safe, lovingly held spaces Fiona has learned how to bring all these elements together in her classes and workshops. Openness and authenticity as well as a firm grounding in the body itself is where her work is at. As her teacher Ateeka (creator of Yoga Somatics) often says, no matter what is going on always come back to ground. The YogaSomatics approach at its root is one of being present and aware in the body, all else stems from that inner contact.
‘Restorative Yoga as a supported and conscious mind-body relaxation practice returns the whole body into a deeply relaxed state, and allows the practitioners mind to become quiet and reflective, balancing physiological, mental, psychological, and emotional aspects of oneself.’
The work Fiona offers is the culmination of a lifetime of searching for connection, ultimately to her Self, nature and to others. Fiona
offers this work as an aid to your own journey through life, a deepening into the realm of body through bodywork and yoga. A
communion with the medicine of the plants with which she has worked. Underlying all that however, is simply the intention of
connecting to what is real and true to You. ‘What is going on right here and now in your own body, your life? I am not here to provide
answers but to point you back to your Self. Therein lie all questions and all answers.’ Fiona
