Luna & Sol Yoga Retreat in Bali

I honestly thought the Bali retreat was just perfect. I loved every minute of it. The surroundings were exactly as I’d hoped and imagined they would be. Steph was an open and honest teacher as well as an expert organiser - everything went as smoothly as it could have. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

There is no light without darkness. There is no sun without the moon. Our invitation is to learn how to live our lives without preferring one over the other. Our work to living a full, conscious life is to honor both sides and see all aspects of ourselves and the world around us. The shadow and the light. 

Join Steph for this soul and nature-centered week in the Balinese Jungle. Running in conjunction with Nyepi Day, Bali's New Year's Day, we will explore and honor the infusion and merging of the sun and the moon, the masculine and feminine, the fire and ice, the yin and yang.

Through our yoga practice, we will explore both vinyasa and yin yoga to discover the dynamic play of these two forces within our inner landscape. By humbly honoring Balinese culture as guests of the island, we will participate and witness the New Years Eve Festival and the silent day that follows. Together, we will see and observe the dance of the masculine and feminine in both our internal and external world.

We want to make sure you have a good balance of planned activities and free time, so will make sure you have enough hours in the day to wander on your own or explore with friends, while maintaining a structure for eating and practicing together.

10:00 - 5:00 - Free time

5:00- 6:30 - Yin Yoga Practice

Steph Wall E-RYT 500 

Steph has a passion for empowering others through the tradition of yoga. She is the owner of The Kali Collective Yoga Studio in Glasgow and runs 200 hour yoga teacher trainings, workshops and retreats all over the world. Steph has over 500 hours of training, primarily with her teacher Julia McCabe and has spent many hours training with physiotherapists to grow her knowledge of anatomy. Steph has a strong focus on the philosophy and traditions of yoga while infusing her studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine and energy healing. It is clear from spending time with Steph that her greatest teachers are her friends, family, students and the lessons she has received from spending years traveling. Steph used all the tools from her trainings and experience to deliver a strong, introspective, loving vinyasa class.
