OFFERING THAT DEEPENS YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO YOGA AND HELPS YOU ENCOURAGE THE SAME FOR OTHERS.

OUR 16+ MONTH LONG PROGRAM WITH STEPH WALL

A part of my call with my lifelong relationship with Yoga is to create gatherings where wisdom, knowledge and experience co-mingle, generate and create new spaces for us to roam. Many years of study and practice have allowed for the opportunity to pass along aspects of what the Tradition has to share. However, the gatherings offered are circles where wisdom gets experienced, passed around and shared. You are invited to be your own primary teacher, with the rest of us there to create and hold the space you unfold into.

During this program, we will complete the Yoga Wisdom Studies course, which includes facets of yoga such as advanced asana, meditation, pranayama, mythology and philosophy. Following completion of this course, there will be another application process to see if the next phase is a genuine call for you. If so, you will move into the Advanced Teaching Program which is an additional 3-4 months of learning and practicing teaching skills such as sequencing, cueing, techniques and more.

The advanced teaching program offered is outside the paradigm of the current Yoga Alliance-dominated space; however, for clarity's sake, this program is most closely equivalent to a 300 or 500-hour advanced yoga teacher training. What I offer is not quantified by time or hours but rather by quality and depth of practice; therefore, acceptance and graduation are not necessarily contained within the given framework. In other words, although there are recommended guidelines for who can join this program and when you might graduate, ultimately, we will decide together based on when we feel you are ready to join and close the circle.

  • Phase 1 of this program is the Yoga Wisdom Studies course. Please see the YWS page to see more details about the content that is covered.

Phase 2 is the Advanced Teaching Program which you can only be accepted into if you complete YWS and are accepted into the teaching portion of the offering. This phase covers:

    Vinyasa sequencing

    Functional Anatomy

    Cueing and theming

    Ethics

    Practice teaching

    Teaching methodology

  • This teaching program is appoximately 16 months long.

Phase 1 - Please refer to the YWS page for dates. You will need to get an info pack from us for full details. This begins Aug, ‘24 (dates TBC).

    Phase 2 begins March ‘25 - approximately July ‘25.

  • This program is not registered with Yoga Alliance due to ethical conflicts with the organisation. Please note that Yoga is not governed or regulated. Yoga Alliance is not a governing body for Yoga.

You will need a certificate from a yoga school for insurance and job applications, which you will receive upon completion. You can then join the Yoga Alliance registry with this certificate should you wish to do so. Whether or not I am a part of YA is irrelevant to your joining ability.

Should you complete the entire program, you will have an equivalent to a 300/500 hour YTT. If you have already done a 200 hour YTT, this will be an additional 400 hours.

You may apply to this program if you have never taught before.

You will have 2 applications. One for YWS and another for the teaching program. Acceptance into YWS does not guarantee you acceptance into the next phase. No payments will be taken for either phase until you have been accepted.

  • Please ask for more information to see the prices for both YWS and the advanced teaching program.

  • If this program feels resonant with you, please follow the path of YWS. There you will find a way to get more info and find further details on this program. The info pack will put you in touch with us if you have any questions and you will find ways to apply there.
