Steph Wall

A seeker of Yoga, a keeper of its Wisdom.

As a lover of the mysteries in life, Steph found a sense of home with the ever unfolding complexities that the Tradition of Yoga offers. The wisdom contained in the many arms of Yoga held Steph through her darkest days and continues to guide her to living more fully and deeply.

Over many years of practice she has learned that the most profound teachings come from digging one deep well instead of a hundred shallow holes. Therefore, Steph’s practice is guided by where the energy of Kālī takes her, which is towards the realms of Hindu mythology and Advaita Vedantic (non dualist) philosophy.

The greatest teachers in Steph’s life are her greyhounds, Nell and River and all animals who have taught her what true presence and unique expression really is. Steph’s inspirations are the energy current of the Hindu Goddess, Kālī and Nature.

Steph is passionate about a reciprocal relationship with Yoga; as she learns from the Tradition, she hopes to give back by living and sharing its wisdom with integrity and honesty. Her expression of this is through teaching studio classes where consistent practice and longevity of practice thrive. Steph’s joy of teaching comes from strong vinyāsa and mindful Hatha, all infused with mantra, philosophy and prãņāyāma alongside āsana.

Steph also offers a year long program for committed students called Living Yoga Wisdom.

Steph has been teaching yoga since 2011.
