Take Flight: Arm Balance Masterclass

This workshop is for those beginning their arm balance journey, or those who feel comfortable on their hands but want to improve their technique and discover transitions within them.  Take Flight will cover the fundamentals of Crow Pose (Bakasana), Side Crow (Parsva Bakasana) with koundinyasana variations, and Eight Angle Pose (Astavakrasana).  By learning to understand the techniques and strength needed, you will leave this workshop feeling like you can practise arm balances with confidence.  This masterclass is for you if you are looking to get stronger in your physical asana practice and explore some intermediate flying shapes.

Bio:

Rhiannon believes that yoga is a space to grow in all directions.  She believes that yoga brings about transformation through awareness. Through teaching, she aims to create a more connected and conscious community.  Rhiannon’s style of teaching explores flow state through creative and fluid sequencing, challenge, and soft moments of mindfulness.  She views the physical practice as a gateway to the inner world, and uses practices of breathwork and meditation to go deeper. By nourishing the mind, body, and spirit when teaching, she supports students stepping into their power.  Rhiannon is inspired by life upside down, and finds grounding in her handstand practice.
