Join Steph and Rashmi at The Kali Collective Yoga Studio for a weekend of exploring the Yoga practice through sound, story and stillness. Experience intersections of mantra, storytelling, and awareness through a mindful exploration of Tāntrik philosophy, the science of mantra, and power of mythic mystery in this course aimed at dedicated yoga practitioners.
Over the course of three days, we will dive into embodied expressions of awareness by experiencing intersections of Nāda Yoga - the yoga of sound and mantra practice, decoding sacred mythology, learning age-old and modern views on mantra meditation, practicing yoga in movement and stillness, and reflecting together.
You will take-away:
An enriched understanding of the depth of South Asian spiritual traditions and their intersections with philosophy, art, and healing sciences.
Six Sanskrit mantras from Vedic and Hindu Tāntrik traditions with insights on pronunciations, meanings, and applications.
Deepened views on sacred mythology and expressions of divinity including Ganesha, Śiva, Śakti, and more.
New ways to consider nurturing strengths of inner awareness and applications for your own practice plus teaching.
Training Details:
This in-person, 20-hour training will explore yoga and the power of awareness (cit śakti) through the paths of mantra, storytelling, meditative movement and stillness.
