Vinyāsa is great for practitioners in Glasgow looking to find movement, creativity, playfulness and a deep connection to their breath and body. Most of the yoga classes offered at the Kāli Collective are vinyasa flow based. This particular style allows for creativity and dynamic movement paired with the rhythm of your breath. Sequences will be different in each class, and you will likely run into new poses and transitions all the time.

We have two spaces at our Glasgow studio, the CREATOR and the DESTROYER. The DESTROYER hosts our hot yoga classes, heated with infrared panels for a spacious, dry heat. Our hot vinyāsa and intermediate classes are heated to approximately 32°C and our gentle and warm yin & restorative classes are around 26°C. Please bring a towel or rent one for £1.

Gentle flow is the perfect place to start if you are new to yoga or simply want a slower-paced practice. Our Gentle Flow classes are accessible to all practitioners, regardless of experience. Other aspects of yoga, such as meditation, breathing techniques and yoga philosophy, will be introduced. Expect to have poses explained carefully and a slow-paced practice.

Yin yoga is a beautiful practice that requires poses to be held for several minutes with the intention of getting into the connective tissue. Light meditation and breathwork may be introduced. The benefits of yin yoga are to destress, get quiet, and create more space and flexibility in the body.
Restorative yoga is taught to increase parasympathetic tone, or move us into a state of more rest and healing. All postures will require several props to help support your body in different positions. Each posture will be held for several minutes. This class is for those who could benefit from more stillness and relaxation in their day.
This class blends the best of both Yin and Restorative so you can feel the benefits of both. Enjoy long held, relaxing postures that help to increase range of motion and create parasympathetic tone in your system. All levels welcome, however, don’t assume it’s easy just because you’re seated!

At aerial yoga Glasgow, we use just one prop: the hammock. Leaving mats and blocks behind, you'll explore yin and restorative yoga poses with the ultimate support—think of it as a big, comforting hug! In addition to flowing off the ground, classes may include pranayama, meditation, and yoga nidra, creating a deeply relaxing and mindful experience. Whether you're new to aerial yoga or an experienced yogi, these classes are open to all levels, offering a unique way to move, stretch, and unwind.

This class is designed to be intuitive, responsive and without any boundaries! Open to all, our Yoga class will meet you where you are and provide the space to build a relationship with each posture.
