Meet the Creator Studio.

The Creator Yoga Studio space in the Kali Collective

You will see the phrase Create / Destroy woven throughout the Kali Collective Yoga Studio. This phrase is an invitation to the light for you to create, express yourself in movement, and become at home in your mind and body. It is also an invitation to the darkness a destroying of the image of ourselves that we can cling to so strongly, a letting go of all that does not serve us the habits, behaviours and emotions so that we can be as we are.

The Creator is our sister studio to the Destroyer, both spaces a physical representation of the lightness and darkness that is part of all of us inspired by the Goddess of Time and Destruction, Kalí. We invite you to be curious of the practice of yoga beyond the physical shapes, to consider the philosophy of yoga and all that it holds to teach us. We would love for you to join us in the Creator.

Join us for aerial yoga and pilates classes

In the Creator Studio we host different modalities of movement in addition to our yoga classes. In the Creator you can find yoga classes, aerial yoga classes, mat pilates and small group reformer classes.

Aerial yoga classes

At aerial yoga we will use one yoga prop: the hammock. Leaving our mats and blocks on the ground we will explore various yin and restorative poses while our hammock provides the ultimate support (it will feel like a big hug). As well as exploring poses off the ground classes will sometimes include pranayama, meditation and nidra. As such classes are suitable for all levels.

Reformer pilates classes

Reformer Pilates is a form of Pilates that utilizes a specialized machine called a "Reformer." This equipment consists of a sliding carriage, springs, and pulleys, allowing for a wide range of exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and posture. The resistance provided by the springs can be adjusted to suit different fitness levels.
